Explore Iba, Zambales

Situated in the Central Luzon region, one can easily find its way to Iba, Zambales. A 3 to 4 hour drive is needed to reach the province. Public transporation is via Victory Liner which has regular trips daily. Iba, Zambales is a growing municipality of Zambales with small businesses thriving in the economy. Recently, fastfood giants such as Jollibee and Chowking have also ventured in the locality. Banks, schools, hospitals and government offices can be found in the town.


The town of Iba has a long stretch of clean and pristine beaches offering a breathtaking view for visitors to enjoy. Sunsets are picture perfect from the coastline that one could instantly feel serenity. There is no crowded feeling that one gets when swimming in highly populated areas.


Aside from this, the province is also famous for its very sweet mangoes and creamy pastillas that tourists never fail to bring home as a gift or pasalubong to their friends and loved ones.
One should try eating the ripe mangoes with suman which is a native glutinous rice delicasse wrapped in leaves.

The dried fish or tuyo which is perfect for breakfast with tomato and fried rice is a favorite Filipino food. It is not salty as compared to the other produce out there. And of course, the wide array of fish and shells is always at its best here in Iba, Zambales

But what makes Iba, Zambales stand out is the warm and pure hospitality of the locals residing there. Their hospitality is innate and one could easily feel at ease. What is good about the Zambalenos is that they rarely talk in their native tongue of Sambal. This makes it easy for tourists to communicate and enjoy the community.
